2003 Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Plant Fatty Acids and Glycerolipids Symposium

Room Accommodations

Rates quoted are per person for the length of the symposium (5 days, 4 nights), from the evening of June 4 until breakfast on June 8.  Prices include lodging, meals, two daily coffee breaks, meeting rooms, use of recreational facilities (tennis, sailing, canoeing, rowing, hiking, etc.), and courtesy transportation to and from the South Lake Tahoe Airport and the Reno International Airport Depot in South Lake Tahoe on conference arrival and departure days only.  No partial stays are allowed for participants.  Spouses and guests are welcome on a daily basis as space allows.

The Stanford Sierra Camp has a Main Lodge and cabin clusters spread throughout the camp, offering two-bedroom, one-bath units; and three-bedroom, one-bath units.  Due to limited accommodations, priority by date received will be given to reservation requests.

Two types of accommodations are offered:
Plan One:   Each participant is assigned a bed, and shares a bedroom and one bathroom with others in the same cabin.  Three to five participants will be assigned to each cabin.
  $ 675 per person
Plan Two:   One person is assigned to each bedroom.  In the two and three-bedroom units, each participant has his or her own room and shares a bath.
$ 800 per person

Also, due to extraordinary fire danger, guests may not smoke inside any building or cabins.  Ash cans are located around the camp and on the cabin decks.
